About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a WA State Medical Assistant Certified for our Urology department. Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, and supporting the overall delivery of patient care. The ideal candidate works well with others as part of a cohesive team and maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Hiring rate starts at $22.25/ hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.) required
Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required
Current healthcare provider BLS required
Experience with an electronic health record
Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas, is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.
