As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by supporting providers, building strong patient relationships, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role supports the Rheumatology team within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
Current CPR Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Commitment to compassionate, inclusive patient care

Responsibilities

Assist providers during exams and support efficient patient flow
Prepare patients for visits: rooming, vitals, and EHR documentation (eClinicalWorks)
Perform clinical procedures including injections, address patient messages, and assist with insurance appeals
Educate patients and ensure completion of forms and care instructions
Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment
Follow OSHA and clinic protocols
Travel to other clinic locations as needed
Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team environment
