About The Position

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative provides healthcare services to individuals under the instruction of a Physician or APP. The role performs routine clinical procedures, participates in patient education, enters appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and completes other assigned duties within the scope of certification. The position is required to report during inclement weather.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice is preferred.
