About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN in Pediatrics. The shift is the 1st shift, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Successful completion of a medical assisting education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, or by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.
• Successful completion of a Career and Technical Education Health Sciences Program approved by the South Carolina Department of Education
• Successful completion of a medical assisting program provided by a branch of the United States military
• Successful completion of a medical assisting United States Department of Labor-approved Registered Apprenticeship program
• Successful completion of a training program delivered, in whole or in part, by a health care employer that aligns to a nationally accredited certification exam. (Must be completed within 90 day probationary period)
• Must be a Medical Assistant (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMMA) required
• Must obtain certification within 3 months of hire
• Must hold and maintain active certification or registry in medical assisting
