About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides clinical support under physician supervision. The role delivers direct and indirect patient care, applies established clinical principles and professional standards, and supports the efficient operation of the practice through clinical and clerical duties as assigned. The position is in Endocrinology and includes travel to Petal Family Practice Clinic on two to four Fridays each month.
Requirements
- For a CMA: High school diploma or equivalent.
- For a CMA: Graduation certificate from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program.
- For a CMA: Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- For an LPN: Graduation certificate from an accredited nursing (LPN) program.
- For an LPN: Current state licensure.
Nice To Haves
- For a CMA: Prior CMA experience.
- For an LPN: Prior LPN experience.
- CPR certification.
