Our MAs, in partnership with clinic staff and operations, have collaboratively created a structured approach to a more effective, efficient workday, ensuring appropriate workloads and a clearer path for professional development within our demanding specialty. We've established one of the first-ever MA Apprenticeship programs with an accredited local college, actively educating and preparing the next generation of MAs for success, including specialized training to excel in clinics like ours. This position assumes a pivotal supportive role, with responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the neurosurgical healthcare team and the patient/family. You will be instrumental in identifying and meeting the unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients navigating complex surgical interventions of the brain and spine. You will promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the delegation of medical services as defined by the State Medical Practice Act.
