About The Position

We are hiring Certified Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, BXMO Technicians and Medical Receptionists. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Medical Assistant certification and CPR/BLS certification (for CMAs).
  • Active BXMO certification and CPR/BLS certification (for X-Ray Techs).
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse certification and CPR/BLS certification (for LPNs).
  • Experience with EPIC (strongly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology (strongly preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EPIC.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Performing diagnostic x-ray procedures while also fulfilling mid-office administrative and operational duties (BXMO Technician).
  • Interacting with patients in a healthcare setting and managing administrative tasks for the clinical team, serving as the initial point of contact to create a positive experience and ensure smooth operations (Medical Receptionist).
  • Providing professional clinical care for patients following established standards and practices (CMA/LPN).
  • Assisting patients before, during, and after visits with compassion and empathy (CMA/LPN).
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations (CMA/LPN).
  • Preparing, restocking, and sterilizing examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area, and all other patient care areas per established policies and procedures (CMA/LPN).
  • Accompanying patients to examination or treatment rooms, measuring and recording vital signs, reviewing patient’s medical history, updating information and changes in medical history as needed, and preparing them for examination or treatment (CMA/LPN).
  • Assisting Providers during treatment/procedures, examinations, and testing of patients (CMA/LPN).
  • Cleaning wounds, drawing labs, completing electrocardiograms, and applying dressings and splints (CMA/LPN).
  • Performing phlebotomy, injections, and other specimen collection per established policies and procedures as directed by the Provider (CMA/LPN).
  • Administering vaccines, immunizations, and medications prescribed by the Provider (CMA/LPN).
  • Performing lab work such as throat cultures, hematocrits, and urinalysis (CMA/LPN).
  • Educating patients by providing information and instructions as directed by the provider, ensuring patient’s understanding of care instructions and wellness plan (CMA/LPN).
  • Performing front office duties: checking in patients, confirming patient demographics and insurance verifications (CMA/LPN).
