About The Position
Hamilton Physician Group (HPG), a multi-subspecialty physician group practice and wholly owned subsidiary of Hamilton Medical Center, serves communities in and around Dalton, Georgia. The role performs nursing services and helps maintain standards for professional, skilled patient care and treatment. The employee accommodates physician needs by managing patient flow, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians with routine procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
- Current LPN license in the State of Georgia.
- Current CPR certification.
- Medical office or hospital experience.
- Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing services and support professional, skilled patient care and treatment.
- Accommodate the needs of the physician by controlling patient flow.
- Prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist the physician with routine procedures.
