About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant II - Cardiology/Vascular Clinic is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. This role involves appointment scheduling and chart management, providing information to patients to ensure they can fully utilize and benefit from clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
- Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in health care preferred.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Experience as a medical assistant for cardiology or vascular.
