The role also includes maintaining equipment and medical supplies, stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintaining examination areas. Additionally, administrative or clerical duties may be assigned, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• 1 year of clinic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties an assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
