About The Position
Highpoint Family Wellness Sumner Station with Ascension Saint Thomas in Gallatin, Tennessee, care teams provide quick and convenient care for everyone, from children to older adults. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent Required
- CCMA, CMA or RMA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting with performing patient assessments and treatments
- Performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
- Monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition
- Documenting patient care given
- Maintaining equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting
- Performing administrative or clerical duties as assigned/needed
