About The Position
A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role accurately identifies patient needs, provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient, and performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. This is a part-time weekend position at Hickory Family Practice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities
- Accurately identifies patient needs
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
