This is a full-time position for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at a Women's Care Clinic, working days. The role involves delivering patient care according to established standards and procedures, preparing patients for healthcare providers, and accurately recording vital signs and patient information. The CMA will administer medications and/or vaccines, collect blood samples, perform routine tests like EKGs, and schedule diagnostic tests. Documentation of patient care plans and test results in the medical record is crucial. Communication with patients regarding test results and care plans is also a key responsibility. The position requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring patient safety and privacy. The CMA may also assist in the front office and perform other assigned duties.
