About The Position

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Lakewood Family Medicine. This is a Full-Time position with a Day shift, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinic CMA to join their team. The role involves providing direct patient care, performing diagnostic procedures, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, maintaining supplies and equipment, and performing administrative duties. Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required.
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

1 year of related experience preferred.
1 year of clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
Documents patient care given.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting.
Maintains examination areas.
Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
