About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a solo-provider outpatient clinic. This is a dynamic, patient-facing role that blends clinical expertise with essential administrative support. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong experience in point-of-care testing and direct patient care.
Requirements
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proven hands-on experience in phlebotomy, EKGs, and POC testing
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver both clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient setting
- Perform phlebotomy and collect blood samples accurately and efficiently
- Conduct point-of-care (POC) testing in accordance with clinical protocols
- Obtain and document patient vital signs and perform EKGs
- Assist provider during examinations, procedures, and patient visits
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and daily clinic coordination
- Maintain precise and timely electronic medical records
- Support front desk functions including payments and medication-related processing
