Memorial Family Medicine Clinic in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is a fast-paced, high-volume family practice clinic providing comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan. The clinic serves a diverse patient population, including obstetric, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Providers deliver a wide range of preventive, acute, and chronic care services, as well as in-office procedures such as women's health exams and circumcisions. The collaborative care team works closely to support patient needs in a dynamic environment, making it an ideal setting for CMAs who are adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable caring for individuals of all ages.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent Required
  • CCMA, CMA or RMA License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
