About The Position
Asbury Grace Park is seeking a Certified Med Tech to join their team. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and independence. The Certified Med Tech will be responsible for administering medications safely and accurately, following a strict verification process, and ensuring compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors. The position requires attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend and holidays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus
- 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
- Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
- Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
- Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors
