Requirements

  • Certified Medication Technician (CMT) or Qualified Medication Aide (QMAP) certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Willingness to work the 2pm-10pm shift.
  • Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Med Tech or in a similar healthcare role.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in healthcare or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor resident vital signs and health status.
  • Document resident care and medication administration accurately.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in resident care planning and team meetings.
