About The Position
The Certified Mathematics Tutor will motivate and assist each pupil to develop competence in basic mathematical skills and an understanding of the structure of mathematics, while learning to apply mathematical skills to solve practical problems. This role involves tutoring secondary pupils in mathematics, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education and appropriate curriculum publications as guidelines in addressing individual course content.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related subject area.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Nice To Haves
- A valid Illinois Certificate Type 09, preferred.
