About The Position

This position provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, with responsibilities across hospital departments as assigned. Supports chronic hemodialysis treatments in accordance with established protocols, administers prescribed medications and treatments, performs patient care and dressing changes, and accurately documents services provided. Communicates patient status to the nursing team, assists with transportation and patient needs, maintains and monitors dialysis equipment, and contributes to the interdisciplinary plan of care while promoting a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • Current Montana State Board of Nursing licensure as an LPN.
  • IV certification required for dialysis.
  • BLS required.
  • Graduate from a technical school of nursing.
  • Completes all mandatory review/education as required and assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 6 months of acute care or dialysis experience preferred.
  • Certification as a dialysis LPN or technician is encouraged.
