About The Position
Andwell Health Partners is Maine's largest independent nonprofit home and community healthcare organization. We provide home health, hospice, behavioral health, medical, and care management services across the state. This role provides peer support and encouragement to individuals on their recovery journey, helps members identify and build natural support systems, and connects members with peer resources, advocacy groups, and community services. The specialist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person care and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Maine Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification, or ability to obtain provisional certification through CORE training and achieve full certification within 9 months.
- Must have lived experience with mental health recovery and be willing to self-identify in accordance with Maine SAMHS requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, advocacy, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
