About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Certified Infant Teacher in Quincy, Massachusetts. The teacher works alongside other teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role includes overseeing programs across multiple classrooms, mentoring teachers and assistant teachers, creating developmentally appropriate curriculum, and partnering with families to support children’s care and education. The listed pay range is $21.00–$30.00 per hour. The position has no evening or weekend work.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentor Teachers and Assistant Teachers within the centers.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide the best care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
