Requirements

  • Must be a Red Seal certified journeyman industrial electrician (BC/IP).
  • Must have Allen Bradley PLC experience, Motion Control, and the ability to troubleshoot VFD drives, optimizer systems, and scanners.
  • Commitment to maintain a safe work environment without compromise.
  • Be a positive contributor to a team.
  • Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
  • Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Must be willing to work in a multi-shift work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.
  • Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and controls for our Sawmill, Planermill and Kiln hot oil systems.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and repair PLC and HMI systems.
  • Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.
