About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHA) to provide essential care to clients. This role involves a variety of tasks to support clients in their homes, ensuring their well-being and independence. We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and a supportive work environment. We also provide training programs, including Dementia care and Home Life Enrichment, and free American Heart Association CPR certification. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Requirements

NJ CHHA certification
Reliable transportation
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
Reliable vehicle
Able to pass criminal history and drug screening
Authorized to work in the United States
Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment

Responsibilities

Provide companion activities
Perform homemaking tasks
Assist with personal care
Transport clients to appointments
Assist with daily activities such as grocery shopping
Assist with exercise, activity and positioning, range of motion, transferring, ambulation and assistive devices
Assist with personal hygiene (nail and skin care, bathing, shampooing, etc.) and positioning
Monitor vital signs
Provide post-stroke and dementia care
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
Adhere to patient plan of care
