About The Position

BrightStar Care of Hunterdon is seeking compassionate and dependable New Jersey Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for meaningful work where they can make a difference in someone's life. We believe quality care starts with quality caregivers. Our CHHAs provide one-on-one care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Requirements

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification - REQUIRED
• Current CPR certification - REQUIRED
• Reliable transportation - REQUIRED
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned
• Dependable and committed to providing quality care
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and professional

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus
• Some client locations are not accessible by public transportation. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship and conversation
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Medication reminders
• Supporting clients with activities of daily living
• Providing compassionate care while following the client's plan of care
