About The Position
-The Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide (CHHA) is a paraprofessional member of the home care/hospice team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs and assists patient with various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort.
Requirements
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the State of California, in good standing.
- Current BLS certification.
- Registration on the Home Care Aide Registry through the Department of Social Services, Home Care Services Bureau, in good standing.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
