About The Position

BAYADA is seeking compassionate individuals to join their personal care and companionship team as a Home Health Aide (HHA). This role involves providing one-on-one support to clients with activities of daily living, household support, and companion care to help them live safely and independently at home. BAYADA is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to providing high-quality care and fostering a supportive employee experience. The company is urgently hiring and offers training for those without prior home health care experience, as well as assistance with the CHHA application process. The position serves patients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties.

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but not required

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide personal care services
• Provide household support services
• Provide companion care (homemaker) services
• Help adults stay safe and independent at home
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders/assistance
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
