About The Position

BAYADA is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide personal care and companionship services to adults, enabling them to live safely and independently at home. This role involves supporting clients one-on-one with daily activities and household tasks. BAYADA is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to high-quality care and employee satisfaction. Training is available for those without prior experience, and assistance is provided for the CHHA application process with the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing. The position offers flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties.

Requirements

Minimum one year work experience.
Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist with range of motion exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders and assistance.
Perform vital sign checks including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
