About The Position

BAYADA is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults, enabling them to live safely and independently at home. The position is urgently hiring and offers training for individuals interested in becoming a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), including assistance with the application process to the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing. HHAs will serve patients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties.

Requirements

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide personal care services
• Provide household support
• Provide companion care (homemaker) services
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
