About The Position
FirstLight Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and dependable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to join their team. The mission is to ensure that every adult experiences comfort, dignity, and independence in their own home. CHHAs will play a pivotal part in providing exceptional care that is personalized to meet the unique needs of clients, enhancing their quality of life and providing peace of mind to their families. The company believes in taking good care of their extraordinary caregivers, who are the heart and soul of the company. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including daytime 4-hour morning shifts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession of state-required certifications
- Valid Driver’s License with adequate auto insurance, if applicable
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
- Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job

Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, non-medical care that aligns with clients' Service Plan/Care Plan
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Provide companion care activities such as conversation, light housekeeping, meal planning, preparation, and more
- Provide medication reminders
- Monitor, Record and Report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to the supervisor
- Utilize our Time Management system for Clock-in/Clock-out and Document completed tasks in accordance with company policies
- Stay updated with our relevant changing technology
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and evaluations.
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
