About The Position
Seniors Helping Seniors is seeking a dedicated and dependable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a long-term case in Maplewood. This role offers a stable, high-hour schedule across 4 days with a consistent weekly routine: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The agency, owned and operated by Matt and Erin Eckard, was founded on the belief that care is most meaningful when it comes from a place of shared experience. They are looking for mature, dependable CHHAs who want to provide dignity and joy to seniors in the community.
Requirements
- Active NJ CHHA Certification
- A valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- A compassionate, "can-do" attitude with strong clinical judgment.
- Ability to treat every client with dignity.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including hands-on assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with nutrition and home maintenance, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation for essential grocery shopping, errands, and medical appointments.
- Deliver meaningful social engagement and specialized memory care support if needed.
- Serve as a 'clinical anchor' for the client, providing vital daily support.
