About The Position

Organization: SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Bay Position Overview: Successful candidate will hold an HHA certification from CDPH and preferably have experience in a Home Health or Hospice environment. Under the supervision of the Primary Care Clinician and/or Clinical Manager, the Home Health Aide provides personal care and related non-professional household services necessary to meet the hygiene, activities of daily living, and comfort needs of the homebound patient. Job Description: EDUCATION: HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) provided prior to start date CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: HHA-Home Health Aide provided prior to start date BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: Department: SCAH - DL-Valid Drivers License Department: SCAH - Auto Insurance SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices and universal precautions. Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people. Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook). Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions. Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options. Build collaborate relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives. Requirements

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) provided prior to start date
