About The Position

CVHCare is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join their Home Health Care Agency in San Ramon, CA. This role involves working under the supervision of a Licensed/Certified Clinician to provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities. Responsibilities include checking vital signs, assisting with exercises, and supporting daily activities such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, transfers, and light housekeeping.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and reporting/documenting on clinical charts
• Home Health Aide Training
• California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification
• General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
• Strong attention to detail for use in chart documentation
• Excellent time management/calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely
• Strong experience using computers and computer systems
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities.
• Check temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Assist with exercises or repetitive routines as prescribed by clinicians.
• Assist with getting in and out of bed.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Assist with feeding.
• Provide assistance with ambulatory transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping.
