Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 18 years of age or older (required)
- Current and active New Jersey CHHA certification (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Responsibilities
- Record vital signs and report changes in patient behavior to nursing staff
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, medication reminders, mobility)
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding and perform light housekeeping
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments
- Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement through safe, compassionate care
