About The Position

We are hiring Certified HHAs/PCAs for full-time and part-time cases in Queens, New York. Immediate start available. We are looking for individuals who are happy and willing to provide care, possess a valid ID, are authorized to work in the US, and have a Social Security card. Experience in hospice, home care, or related fields is a plus. Ability to attend to minor medical issues and availability to work occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends is required.

Requirements

• Certified in New York to work as an HHA or PCA
• Valid ID
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Social Security Card (We do not accept Tax ID)
• Happy and willing to provide care
• Ability to care for patients
• Ability to attend to minor medical issues
• Availability to work occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospice, home care, or other related fields is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily functions such as dressing or bathing
• Perform household chores such as vacuuming or doing laundry
• Shop for groceries and cook meals
• Schedule medical appointments or other meetings and arrange transportation
• Record and report patient health status to nurses
• Teach patient self-care skills
