About The Position

SportsCare & Armworks is excited to welcome a dedicated and motivated Occupational or Physical therapist to join our large hand team with an enthusiastic attitude to grow and develop their skills as a hand therapist for immediate hire. We are actively seeking a passionate and dedicated therapist, whether a new graduate eager to start their career or an experienced professional who is clinically driven and works well within a team atmosphere. Available are a wide range of therapy equipment and gym space. Physical Therapists who apply are encouraged to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization and analytical skills, the talent for multi-tasking between assignments, and the composure and flexibility to keep up with a fast-paced work environment. It’s worth noting that our clinicians are NOT responsible for completing insurance authorizations for their patients.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
Current state of OR occupational/Physical therapy license
Current CHT license
CPR certification
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to multitask
Passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy, and patient care
Enjoys working in a dynamic and multi therapist team environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in splinting
Strong willingness to learn splinting techniques

Responsibilities

Treat post-traumatic, surgical, and repetitive strain injuries of the elbow, wrist and hand
Provide 1:1 care with 45-minute appointments
Act as a coach, guide, and educator for patients
Deliver exceptional patient care and communication skills
Multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone who enters the clinic
