About The Position

SportsCare & Armworks is seeking a dedicated and motivated Occupational or Physical Therapist to join our large hand team in our Salem clinic location for immediate hire. We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic attitude to grow and develop their skills as a hand therapist. We are proud to offer a mentorship program for Occupational or Physical therapists who are interested in becoming a CHT. We have a well-defined and proven mentorship program that has allowed us to guide therapists in achieving their CHT goal over the past 10 years.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
Current state of OR occupational/Physical therapy license.
Current CHT license.
CPR certification.
Experience in splinting preferred, or a strong willingness to learn splinting techniques.
A therapist that is a coach, guide and educator for their patients.
Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone that enters the clinic.
A passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy and patient care.
Enjoys working in a dynamic and multi therapist team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive OT and PT treatment approaches.
Coach, guide, and educate patients.
Deliver excellent patient care and communication.
Multitask while providing an exceptional patient experience.
Treat post-traumatic, surgical, and repetitive strain injuries of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
