About The Position

Sportscare & Armworks Physical and Hand Therapy is seeking a dedicated and motivated Occupational or Physical Therapist to join our large hand team in our Salem clinic location. We are proud to offer a mentorship program for therapists interested in becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), with a well-defined and proven program that has helped 1-2 therapists achieve their CHT goal annually for the past 10 years. Our team is cohesive, using comprehensive OT and PT treatment approaches across 6 clinic locations in the Portland metro area and one in Salem, OR. We are a team of 85 members, focused on educating, guiding, and coaching patients for optimal outcomes. Our leadership team consists of PTs and OTs who regularly treat patients, ensuring they understand the daily challenges faced by therapists.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
Current state of OR occupational therapy license.
Current CHT license.
CPR certification.
Experience in splinting preferred, or a strong willingness to learn splinting techniques.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Ability to multitask while providing an exceptional patient experience.
Passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy, and patient care.

Responsibilities

Treat post-traumatic, surgical, and repetitive strain injuries of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
Provide 45-minute one-on-one treatment sessions.
Act as a coach, guide, and educator for patients.
Collaborate within a dynamic, multi-therapist team environment.
