OTCHT-OT, Certified Hand Therapist

Lifemark Health GroupCalgary, AB
CA$45 - CA$60Onsite

About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy, you’ll help clients regain function, independence, and confidence in their daily lives. From post-surgical recovery to workplace and motor vehicle injuries, your expertise will directly shape meaningful outcomes for the people you treat. This role involves the assessment and treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions, including splinting, post-surgical rehabilitation, and return-to-function planning. You will work alongside physiotherapists, surgeons, kinesiologists, and interdisciplinary rehab professionals in one of Calgary’s most integrated clinical environments. The clinic is a flagship location inside one of Canada’s largest recreation facilities, with direct collaboration alongside orthopedic surgeons and specialty programs. This is an opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise in hand therapy, splinting, and complex rehabilitation, supported by mentorship and a strong referral base. You will work with post-surgical hand and upper extremity cases, workplace (WCB) and motor vehicle (MVA) injuries, complex orthopedic and plastic surgery referrals, custom splinting and casting needs, and return-to-work and functional rehabilitation programs. This is not a typical OT role; at Lifemark MNP, you’ll be part of a highly specialized, interdisciplinary clinic with direct access to orthopedic and plastic surgeons, including dedicated programs focused on knee, foot, and ankle care. You’ll also contribute to unique provincial programs, supporting clinicians across Alberta with expert guidance—expanding your impact beyond a single clinic. With a strong culture of collaboration, learning, and clinical excellence, this is an ideal environment for OTs who want to deepen their expertise and work at the top of their scope.
