About The Position

Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations and help ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. The role involves receiving and sorting shipments, loading and unloading trucks, organizing and preparing goods for shipment, operating warehouse equipment, and assisting with inventory tasks. The operator will maintain a safe and organized workspace, follow warehouse procedures, collaborate to meet daily productivity goals, and communicate with management nightly. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM and pays $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Forklift certification and experience are required.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and sort incoming shipments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Organize items by size, weight, and destination.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
• Work collaboratively to meet daily productivity goals.
• Communicate with management nightly.
