About The Position
The Learning Experience – Andover is seeking a certified Floater Teacher to support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role provides flexible coverage across age groups while maintaining consistent classroom quality and supporting daily learning routines. This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with multiple age levels and contributing to a collaborative teaching team in a structured early childhood environment.
Requirements
- Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teacher certification required (Massachusetts EEC)
- Strong flexibility and classroom management skills across age groups
- Reliable, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
- Ability to meet all Massachusetts licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior childcare or early childhood classroom experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and ensure continuity of care
- Assist with daily routines including learning activities, meals, diapering, and transitions
- Support implementation of developmentally appropriate classroom activities
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized classroom environments
- Collaborate with lead teachers and center leadership
- Communicate professionally with families during drop-off and pickup as needed
- Follow all Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements
