About The Position

Talon Hiring Solutions has a client in the Hoover, AL that is looking for a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) to join a fast-paced, independent wealth management and financial planning firm. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and families, helping clients define and achieve their long-term financial goals.

Requirements

• CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation required
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Experience in tax strategy
• Knowledge of life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance products
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certifications (CPA, CLU, ChFC, CEPA, MBA) are a plus
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client interviews to assess full financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans
• Create tailored strategies for wealth accumulation, income planning, tax optimization, and risk management
• Utilize financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) to build and maintain accurate plans
• Prepare and present client-ready reports, recommendations, and financial narratives
• Maintain accurate client data and engagement through CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality client service and plan execution
