About The Position
This position is for a Certified English Tutor at Oak Forest High School for the 2026-27 School Year. The tutor will help develop in each student an understanding and appreciation of language arts, especially in the area of literature. The role involves tutoring secondary pupils in language arts, using the adopted curriculum as a guideline.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Language Arts or a related subject area.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Nice To Haves
- A valid Illinois Certificate Type 09, preferred.
Responsibilities
