About The Position
Performs EKG procedures (12-Lead/Rhythm Strips/24H Blood Pressure monitors) in all patient care settings and age groups, responds to codes (Blues/Rescues), orders EKGs in the electronic medical record system/downloads all completed EKGs into electronic management system, attaches to the appropriate order, and uploads for the cardiologist‘s transcription.
Requirements
- High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
- Basic Life Support
- CCI Certified Cardiographic Technician
- NHA EKG Technician
- Active Basic Life Support Card
- Certified EKG Technician from CCI, NHA or equivalent verifiable certification and/or registry
- Techs with a job entry date prior to 5/17/2022 may have in-house certification in lieu of CCI, NHA or equivalent
- Less than 1 year experience
- Valid ECG certification required
