Oriana House is participating in Lorain County Community College's Ohio Behavioral Health Apprenticeship Program. This program, developed in collaboration with Lorain County Community College, Ohio Alliance of Recovery Providers (OARP), ApprenticeOhio, and the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, provides a path to a career in behavioral health. Starting as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), participants can work towards an Associate Degree and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDCII) licensure. Participants earn $15/hour to start, advancing to $18/hour upon completion of on-the-job training. The program includes intensive, expert-led instruction, coursework, and on-the-job training. Participants can earn college credit toward an Associate Degree from Lorain County Community College and their LCDCII licensure. Financial assistance is available for tuition costs.
