Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. Under direction of the VP of Adolescent Medicine the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) acts as an interface between client, home team, and medical team to guide optimal diabetes care while in treatment at Monte Nido. CDCES will guide insulin and other medication management in direct coordination with medical team, as well as the rest of the care team in reviewing glucometer readings, optimizing diabetes management, and educating patients on any lifestyle changes recommended. The employee is responsible for establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with patients, family, home team, and staff in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner to facilitate optimal care. This is a contract remote position working 8-15 hours/week, census dependent.
