About The Position

The team at Johnstone Periodontics located in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a full-time basis. The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival. We are a fast-paced, team-oriented periodontal practice offering a positive, drama-free environment. We’re looking for a Dental Assistant with strong patient care and infection control standards—plus enjoy a schedule with no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
Registered or in process of registering with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association
1 year of experience is required
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
Customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

Experience with dental practice management software such as OptiMicro DentalWare
Licensed in other Canadian province(s)
