About The Position

The team at Dental Studio Pediatrics located in Windsor, ON is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a full-time basis. We are seeking a caring, energetic, and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our pediatric dental team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children and is dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience in a fun, supportive environment.

Requirements

Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II) in good standing.
Enjoys working with children and helping create a positive, comfortable dental experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
Registered or in process of registering with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
Customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

Previous pediatric dental experience is considered an asset.
Experience with dental practice management software such as AbelDent is considered an asset.
Licensed in other Canadian province(s)

Responsibilities

Assisting with pediatric patients while they are under sedation and/or general anesthesia.
Working in a hospital setting when required.
Maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and infection prevention and control (IPAC).
