About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join their Diagnostic Imaging team. This role involves performing high-quality CT examinations using advanced imaging technology, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, and digital data management tools. The technologist will work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental leadership, playing a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic imaging to support patient care. The position contributes to maintaining high standards of quality and safety and collaborates with clinical staff in a leading academic healthcare environment. The role requires on-site presence and employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current New York State Certification for Intravascular Contrast Media Injection, or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
  • Current ARRT certification and registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or NMTCB (CT), or eligibility to obtain certification and registration within six months of hire
  • Ability to maintain all New York State and ARRT continuing education and credential renewal requirements
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software systems

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of Diagnostic Imaging experience
  • Recent CT experience
