Certified Coding Specialist Sr - Surgical Coding
About The Position
INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system has a great opportunity for a Certified Coding Specialist Sr in Oklahoma City, OK. In this position, you’ll work with our Surgical Coding Team providing exceptional care to those who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs. The Certified Coding Specialist Sr analyzes relevant clinical and demographic information from the Health Information record, assigns appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes following appropriate guidelines and ascertains that the above are compliant with CMS, state and other regulatory agencies. INTEGRIS Health is the state's largest Oklahoma-owned health system with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician clinics, mental health facilities and home health agencies throughout much of the state.
Requirements
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in surgical coding.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Understanding of CMS, state, and other regulatory agency compliance.
